First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study checks how long protection from the MenFive meningitis vaccine lasts in people from Mali and The Gambia. About 450 participants who got the vaccine more than five years ago will have their blood tested for antibodies. No new vaccine or treatment is given—the goal is simply to see if immunity remains strong over time.
