Simple procedure tested to help moms avoid C-Sections

NCT ID NCT06809985

Summary

This study tested if a simple, non-drug technique called 'membrane stripping' could help reduce the high rate of cesarean sections. It involved 71 first-time mothers in early labor. The goal was to see if this manual procedure could shorten the early stage of labor and safely lead to more vaginal births.
