NCT ID NCT07301957

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 05, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study aims to understand if breaking a remaining membrane after a woman's water breaks early affects how long it takes for labor to start on its own. Researchers will enroll 130 pregnant women whose water has broken but who haven't gone into labor yet. They want to see if this procedure reduces the need for medication to induce labor and shortens the waiting time before delivery begins.
