Summary

This study tests if taking melatonin pills is better than tranexamic acid pills for treating melasma, a skin condition causing dark patches on the face. 160 adults with melasma will take one of the two medicines daily for 12 weeks. Doctors will measure improvement using a special score at the start, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks. The goal is to see which treatment works better and is easier to tolerate.
