Summary

This study tested two ways to help preschool children (ages 2-5) stay still during a brain MRI. One group received melatonin syrup plus a mild sedative gas, while the other got chloral hydrate syrup plus the same gas. The goal was to see which approach worked better and was safer. The trial involved 60 children and was completed at a single hospital.
