Summary
This study tested two ways to help preschool children (ages 2-5) stay still during a brain MRI. One group received oral melatonin plus a mild sedative gas, while the other got oral chloral hydrate plus the same gas. The goal was to see which approach worked better and was safer. The study involved 60 children and has already been completed.
