Summary
This study is testing whether giving children melatonin before tonsillectomy surgery can reduce agitation when they wake up from anesthesia. Researchers will compare melatonin to a placebo in 120 children to see if it helps them wake up more calmly. The goal is to find a safe way to improve recovery after this common childhood surgery.
