Summary
This study tested whether injecting tranexamic acid directly into the skin works better than taking it as a pill for melasma, a common skin condition causing dark patches. 218 adults with melasma took part. Researchers measured changes in the Melasma Area and Severity Index after 8 weeks to see which method was more effective.
