First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested a new cream for melasma, a skin condition causing dark patches on the face. It compared a standard treatment (Kligman's trio) to a version with a different active ingredient (thiamidol) that may be safer. 40 adults with melasma took part to see if the new cream works as well with fewer side effects.
