Double attack on cancer: can radiation boost the immune System's fight against spreading melanoma?

NCT ID NCT06767306

Summary

This study is testing if combining two standard cancer treatments works better than one alone for advanced melanoma that has spread to a few places in the body. It will compare standard immunotherapy drugs, which help the body's immune system fight cancer, to those same drugs plus a very precise form of radiation (SBRT) that targets the tumors. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and helps patients live longer by better controlling the cancer.
