Brain metastases trial: could radiation boost immunotherapy for advanced melanoma?

Summary
This study is for adults with stage IV melanoma that has spread to the brain. It compares two treatments: a combination of two immunotherapy drugs (ipilimumab and nivolumab) alone versus the same drugs plus targeted radiation to the brain tumors. The goal is to see if adding radiation helps control the disease and reduces the chance of death from brain-related causes. About 218 participants will be enrolled.
