Promising combo aims to control brain metastases in advanced melanoma

Summary
This study tests a two-step treatment for people with a specific type of melanoma (BRAF-mutated) that has spread to the brain and causes symptoms. First, participants take two targeted therapy pills (encorafenib and binimetinib) for about 8 weeks, then switch to two immunotherapy drugs (cemiplimab and fianlimab). The goal is to see if this approach can stop brain tumors from growing for at least 6 months. About 33 adults with symptomatic brain metastases will take part.
