First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 12-week Mediterranean diet can lower oxidative stress and improve blood sugar control in girls aged 10-18 with type 1 diabetes who have high HbA1c levels. Participants will follow a Mediterranean diet and have their blood markers and glucose levels measured. The goal is to see if this diet can help reduce long-term complication risks.
