Summary
This study is observing if following a Mediterranean diet can improve health outcomes for people with type 1 diabetes who are starting a new automated insulin pump system. Researchers will track 240 participants' blood sugar control, insulin use, body measurements, and heart health markers over a year. The goal is to see if combining this specific healthy diet with advanced pump technology leads to better overall disease management.
