First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a 90-day Mediterranean diet can lower cravings and improve health in 40 adults receiving medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction. Participants in the diet group will receive three meals daily based on Mediterranean principles, while the control group eats normally. The goal is to see if the diet reduces the urge to use opioids and improves sleep and blood markers.
