First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 3-month Mediterranean diet can improve thinking and physical abilities in older adults who feel their memory is slipping. 57 participants were randomly assigned to the diet or their usual eating, then switched. Researchers used brain scans and blood tests to understand how the diet might help. The goal was to see if this diet offers clear benefits for people already noticing changes in their memory.
