First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 39 times

Summary

This study explores whether adding guided meditation through a virtual reality headset at the start of voice therapy can help people with voice disorders learn and retain treatment better. About 60 participants with voice problems and anxiety will use the TRIPP app on a Meta Quest 2 headset to calm and focus before therapy sessions. Researchers will measure voice quality and self-reported voice handicap to see if VR meditation improves outcomes.
