First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a short relaxation meditation during the first stage of labor can help first-time mothers feel more capable and less fearful. Sixty pregnant women will be split into two groups: one group will practice meditation, the other will receive standard care. Researchers will measure changes in self-confidence and fear levels before and after the meditation.
