First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study looks at whether practicing relaxation meditation during the early part of labor can help first-time mothers feel more capable and less scared. Sixty pregnant women in Turkey will be split into two groups: one group will meditate, the other will not. Researchers will measure their confidence and fear levels before and after the meditation to see if it makes a difference.
