Medical school showdown: High-Tech actors vs paper cases for blood test training
NCT ID NCT06493188
Summary
This study aims to find out which type of training works better for teaching medical and nursing students how to perform and interpret arterial blood gas tests. Researchers will compare high-fidelity simulation (using an immersive room with an actor) against low-fidelity simulation (using structured case analysis on paper). The study will measure students' knowledge, skills, confidence, and teamwork perceptions after the training.
