Shared meals combat medical student burnout
NCT ID NCT06656650
Summary
This study tests whether monthly group meals with guided conversation can reduce burnout and loneliness in medical students during their clinical training years. Researchers will form small groups of 6-8 students who meet monthly for six months with a resident leader to discuss work experiences. The goal is to see if this social support approach improves well-being, similar to benefits previously seen in doctors.
