New ultrasound technique aims to better diagnose chest diseases
NCT ID NCT06128681
Summary
This study is testing whether a new ultrasound-guided technique for opening the mediastinum (the area between the lungs) helps doctors better diagnose and treat diseases in that area. Researchers will compare this new technique against traditional methods in 30 patients. They want to see if it improves diagnostic accuracy and allows for treatments like freezing or laser ablation of masses during the same procedure.
