Summary

This study tested whether MEBO ointment works better than Tantum Verde mouthwash for treating painful mouth sores caused by radiation therapy. 36 adults with moderate to severe sores were randomly assigned to use one of the treatments three times a day for two weeks. Researchers measured soreness and ulcer healing at the start, after one week, and after two weeks.
