NCT ID NCT03673293

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested a new wireless insole device that gives real-time feedback on walking and weight-bearing after hip or knee replacement surgery. Researchers wanted to see if the device could accurately measure recovery and help improve walking symmetry. 58 adults who had or were scheduled for joint replacement took part. The goal was to learn how well the technology works, not to provide a treatment.
