Scientists seek objective test for Chemotherapy's hidden handicap

NCT ID NCT07315334

Summary

This study aims to develop objective tests to measure how chemotherapy-induced nerve damage (CIPN) affects a person's ability to perform daily tasks. Researchers will compare the physical performance of 80 patients with CIPN to healthy individuals, using tasks like walking, balancing, and gripping. The goal is to create better tools to measure the real-world impact of this common side effect and to help evaluate future treatments.
