Scientists seek to perfect the 'Air' for critically ill patients
NCT ID NCT07420673
Summary
This study aims to gather better data on the temperature and humidity of air exhaled by patients who are on breathing machines (ventilators). Researchers will measure this in 70 adult patients in intensive care. The goal is to create more accurate lab testing standards for the devices that add moisture to the air these patients breathe, which is crucial for their safety and comfort.
