New therapy aims to ease emotional struggles after stem cell transplants

Summary

This study tests whether a program called Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy is practical and helpful for stem cell transplant survivors and their caregivers. The program focuses on helping pairs stay connected to what matters, cope with tough experiences, and communicate better during recovery. About 100 patient-caregiver pairs will take part to see if the program is acceptable and improves quality of life.
