First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This pilot study is testing whether delivering specially designed meals can improve nutrition in 25 elderly, low-income patients with end-stage kidney disease who are on dialysis. Participants will first follow their usual diet for 4 weeks, then receive tailored meals for another 4 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible, safe, and helps manage their condition.
