New spine implant aims to heal backs faster

NCT ID NCT07414745

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device designed to help bones fuse together after spinal surgery. It will compare the new device to the current standard method, which uses bone taken from the patient's own hip. The goal is to see if the new device is as safe and effective at stabilizing the spine in people with severe disc degeneration or deformity who need a two-level fusion in their lower back.
