Drug trial for blood disorder halted early
NCT ID NCT04878432
Summary
This study tested whether adding an experimental drug called sabatolimab to standard treatments could help control a serious blood and bone marrow disorder called myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). It involved 39 adults with intermediate to very high-risk MDS. The trial was terminated early by the drug maker for strategic reasons, not due to safety concerns found in this study.
