Summary
This study aims to understand how carrying drug-resistant bacteria in the gut affects infection risk for hospitalized patients. Researchers will track 400 adult patients in Romanian hospitals, testing them regularly during their stay and following up after discharge. The goal is to gather information that helps hospitals improve infection prevention strategies.
