First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests a new device called magnetocardiography (MCG) to see if it can quickly and accurately tell if chest pain is caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. Researchers will compare MCG results to standard tests in 1,000 emergency room patients. The goal is to speed up diagnosis and avoid unnecessary hospital stays.
