New cream tested to soothe debilitating skin condition itch
NCT ID NCT06132919
Summary
This study tested whether a new cream called MC2-25 can safely reduce severe itching in women with vulvar lichen sclerosus, a chronic skin condition. For 12 weeks, 33 women applied either the active cream or a similar-looking inactive cream daily. Researchers compared how much the worst itching scores changed between the two groups to see if the treatment worked.
