Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program could lower stress in women who had experienced a large-scale disaster like an earthquake or flood. 70 women with moderate to high stress took part. The goal was to see if those in the MBSR group felt less stressed after 8 weeks compared to those who did not receive the program.
