NCT ID NCT06832605

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests if mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) delivered through video calls can help prevent depression from coming back. About 315 adults with a history of recurrent depression will be randomly assigned to group video sessions, a self-help manual with brief video support, or standard care. Researchers will track who has a relapse over 12 months and compare costs to see which approach works best for the Spanish health system.
