New biosimilar aims to match leading melanoma drug in major trial

Summary
This study tests whether MB11, a biosimilar (a nearly identical copy) of the cancer drug Opdivo, works as well and is as safe as the original drug. About 632 adults with advanced melanoma that has not been treated before will receive either MB11 or Opdivo. The goal is to see if the biosimilar can control the disease similarly, potentially offering a more affordable treatment option.
