Engineered immune cells take on tough blood cancers in early trial
NCT ID NCT03853616
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new cell therapy called MB-CART19.1 in about 48 adults and children whose B-cell cancers (like leukemia or lymphoma) have come back or not responded to standard treatment. The therapy uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to better recognize and attack cancer cells. The main goal is to find a safe dose and see if the treatment can help control the disease.
