Mapping the sinus: new study aims to make dental surgery safer

This study will look at 50 CBCT scans to measure the size of the maxillary sinus and the pathway of the greater palatine canal. The goal is to help dentists and surgeons better understand the anatomy before performing procedures in the upper jaw. By identifying patterns, the research may reduce the risk of complications during dental implant or sinus lift surgeries.
