Summary

This study looks at how widening the upper jaw changes both the bones and the soft tissues of the face. About 38 people with a narrow upper jaw and crossbite will receive a custom-made expander anchored to temporary bone pins. Researchers will use 3D scans to measure the exact changes before, during, and after treatment.
