Summary

This study is testing whether the medication mavacamten can help control symptoms and reduce strain on the heart in teenagers (ages 12-17) who have a genetic condition that causes the heart muscle to thicken and obstruct blood flow. It is a Phase 3 trial involving 44 participants who will receive either the drug or a placebo for 28 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug safely reduces the abnormal pressure inside the heart and improves symptoms like shortness of breath.
