Summary

This study tested a drug called mavacamten in 38 Japanese adults with a condition that makes the heart muscle too thick and stiff, blocking blood flow. The goal was to see if the drug could improve heart function and reduce symptoms like shortness of breath and chest pain over 30 weeks. Participants took the pill daily and had regular heart scans and questionnaires to track their progress.
