Can better training for health workers improve nutrition advice for moms?
NCT ID NCT07070206
Summary
This study tested whether a special training program for health workers in Ethiopia could improve how they counsel pregnant women about healthy eating. Researchers trained 174 health professionals on culturally appropriate nutrition advice and compared their knowledge and counseling skills to workers who received standard training. The goal was to see if better-trained health workers could help improve the diets of pregnant women, which is a major problem in the region.
