Summary
This study tests whether teaching mothers to wash their hands and chlorinate household water can prevent diarrhea in children under 5 in central Ethiopia. Diarrhea is a leading cause of death in young children there. The study will involve 840 families and measure how often children get diarrhea and how well families follow the practices.
