Researchers seek better way to score painful breast condition

NCT ID NCT06667609

Summary

This study aims to test and validate two different symptom scoring tools for a chronic, painful breast inflammation condition called non-lactational mastitis. Researchers will enroll 300 women to see how well a doctor's score and a patient's own symptom report can reliably measure the severity of the condition and track changes over time. The goal is to create a standard way to measure symptoms so doctors can better evaluate how well treatments are working.
