NCT ID NCT02804074
First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at people whose blood pressure seems normal at the doctor's office but is actually high during daily life (masked hypertension). It compares two treatment strategies: using office readings versus 24-hour ambulatory monitoring to guide medication. Over 4 years, researchers will track heart and kidney health to see which approach leads to better outcomes.
