New emergency drug shows promise for deadly lung clots with lower bleeding risk
NCT ID NCT07245927
Summary
This study is observing how well a new clot-dissolving drug works for patients with severe, life-threatening blood clots in the lungs (massive pulmonary embolism) during regular hospital care. It will track 20,000 patients who receive a single, weight-independent dose of the drug to see how many survive and recover without serious bleeding complications. The goal is to confirm the drug's safety and effectiveness in real-world emergency situations.
