Simple remedies tested to ease Post-Surgery constipation
NCT ID NCT07437014
Summary
This study aims to see if two simple, non-drug methods—abdominal massage and drinking warm water—can help prevent constipation and improve recovery quality in patients after hip fracture surgery. Researchers will compare these methods to standard care in 81 adults. The goal is to find safe, easy ways to manage a common and uncomfortable side effect of surgery and pain medication.
