New study finds Hands-On relief for debilitating period pain

NCT ID NCT07213336

Summary

This study tested whether trigger point massage and stretching exercises could help women with painful periods. Researchers worked with 44 young women who experience primary dysmenorrhea, dividing them into groups that received either stretching, stretching plus massage, or no treatment. The goal was to see if these physical therapies could reduce pain, ease other menstrual symptoms, and improve overall quality of life.
