First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether gentle massage can improve sleep, reduce stress, and increase comfort in preterm infants born at 35-37 weeks. Forty babies in the NICU will either receive a 15-minute massage three times a day for three days or standard care. Researchers will measure sleep, stress, comfort, and vital signs to see if massage helps these fragile infants feel better.
