First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 17, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle massage technique called manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) helps female football players recover faster from muscle fatigue after hard exercise. Researchers will have 11 young athletes perform a tiring leg exercise and then receive either the massage or no treatment to compare recovery. They will measure things like leg strength, swelling, and how tired the players feel to see if the massage makes a difference.
